.75 reccomendations
Hello all. I'm looking for a .75 two stroke for a .60 Ultra Stick. I'm considdering the Irvine .72 and MVVS .77 primarily. Ease of operation and reliability are most important to me but I want good power also. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Best Kept Secret
MDS .68 with 12x6 or 13x6 apc, best kept secret out there and THE BEST .60 SIZE ENGINE I HAVE EVER OWNED!
Not bad for 99 bucks! |

I have a Super Tigre .75, I have been very happy with it's performance.

Irvine and MVVS are two very good choices among many others. I've already got two .75 - Super Tigre and ASP - but if I were in the market for one right now, the Irvine would rank on top of my list. Only wish they make a .72 and .90 ringed.
Judging from your choices, you're looking at Just Engines, right? Their Irvine prices just got dropped. Looks like I'm running out of excuses to get that .53. |
Super Tigre
I have a ST 75 in a Sig King Cobra and wouldn't trade it for anything. It will idle forever and not load up, has great power with 10% Cool Power and 12x8 MAS prop. However, I doubt if the ST 75 is available now. ST 75's may never get back in to production.

A quick reply for your time.
Homebrewer, it's obvious that you are very happy with your .68 and I may eventually try one, Thanks.
Dave B. & ramcharger, from your replys and many others I've seen the ST .75 was a heck of an engine. Anybody know where to get one? Thanks to the both of you. Volfy, Just Engines is certinly a source to be considdered and they also sell the ASP .75 that you mentioned having. What do you think of it? Regards to all, Mark |

Hi, I have had both the Super tiger 75 and the 90, and since they both use the same case, and the 75 weights more then the 90, and the 90 has more power, well you get the picture. Go with the 90 if you can find one. Good Luck.

SkyChi, my suggestion would be to watch the engines for sale/auction on Ebay, RCU, and RCWatch. I bought mine over 2 years ago on RCO. It was advertised as bench run only. After a tank of fuel and some re-tuning it flew like a Tigre. A NIB ST 75 or 91 is almost always on Ebay, however you won't get a bargain, maybe 5 or 10 bucks cheaper than mail order retail.
