I need Help! How do you get a remote glow off of a plug?

Have a engine that has a Ace remote glow and I need to take off the engine but can't get the stupid connectors off the glow plugs, I'm stupid, how do they come off?

maybe you need to get a pair of needle nose pliers press down and turn...kinda like those twist and lock Mcdaniels style ignitors

You should be able to remove it by pushing in and turning counter-clockwise about a quarter turn?

What manuf. engine are you talking about?

If it uses the McDanial style, they can be a real bear some times. I have had them break on YS 1.10's because you could not grip it good enough to twist it hard engough (not enough clearance to grip it with a needle nose) and the wire would pull out. This is the solution I have found, and it works like no other.
It is the connector that most pattern flyers use, and it iwll never vibrate loose, or have a bad contact, and it is easy to remove. It is machined out of brass to fit OS and YS plugs.
The link that I provided shows the one I am mentioning, and the other styles that you can maybe use to identify yours.

If it is like mine. You can pull back on the wire leading to the plug and then the cap will come off. It is spring loaded on some of them.

That's probably the type you have as Goirish states

Ed,

I was never aware Magnum (Sanye, ASP, SC) is offering an engine of this 'displacement'...

Does HobbyKing also offer them?

Hmmm...

If it's the one in the picture, just pull on the wire and lift the cap.
It's spring loaded, have the same on a SAITO.
