Muffler advice

I have a Topflight 1/7 scale P-51D kit I am building. I just purchased a Magnum .91 and would like some recommendation on something other then the stock muffler. The plans call out a Slimline Pitts muffler for a Supertiger 90. Anyone know if this muffler will mount on a Magnum? I would be grateful for some pictures of how you mounted your engine and muffler and any advice building you can give me.

Thanks

Bill

The Slimline Pitts would be a good choice, but I am not sure the SuperTigre model is the one that will fit.....my guess it that the one made for the OS 91FX may fit your Magnum. If you can, find one in a hobby shop and hold it up against your Magnum's exhaust port, checking the bolt spacing especially.

I have the earlier version Magnum 90 and as I recall it was an OS version Slimline that I used.

Just call Slimline...

Last week I found a Slimline Pitts muffler for an OS 120 4-stroke. I wanted to use it for my YS 140L, but didn't know if it would fit. I called Slimline, and I talked to a guy named Bill I think. He was very helpful in explaining me what the differences between the YS and OS muffler were, and how to fit the OS muffler on my YS engine.

So I'm sure he will tell you what muffler you need!
