I think it is an HB (or HP I d'ont remember , the pic is not clear enough ) engine , seem to be made in the 80teen , not very apreciated as a vintage engine , but I think that if you own an old engine NEVER SELL IT!!! , because ine day you wil have a souvenir about the day you bought it , otherway , the money you can have selling it ,wll finish in a moment.

I had a pair on my Pica dualist. HB or HP .40, same logo on mine. I had the boxes for them both when I got them and I got them 10 years ago at a RC auction. I sold them with the dualist however. They ran nice and pulled hard with 10X6 on them. I would price them like a used OS .40 engine. They are European, not sure if German. A web search would figure it out though.

It is HB.
Helmut Bernhardt Feinmechanik, 8354 Metten, West Germany.
Fine engines. I have four of them. The PDP in this case is not Perry Directional Porting, I don't remember the actual words but it means the engine is Schneurle ported.
Sad to say it, but you wont sell it for what an equivalent new engine would cost.

Sure it's a HB German made. HP is made by Hirtemberger Patronenfabrik in Austria, and has absolutely nothing to do with HB.
