ED Clockwork Escapement 1950s
WANTED: ED Clockwork Escapement. I just acquired one on E Bay and want two more for my project. I am building a Radio Queen from the 1950s from a kit. My original one I had while in England back in 1953 had an ED 2.46 Diesel motor, ED Reed Radio made by Honest George Aldridge, and three ED clockwork Escapements. I want to reproduce this plane as back in the 50s except I will be useing an up to date radio. Can anyone help????? Mike Valko, 8130 San Gregorio Road, Atascadero, Ca 93422. Hi Mike,
It has been awhile. I have kept an eye open for ED escapements for you for over a year but no luck.
I have Babcock or O.S. escapements if needed.
