I've never built one, but it sure looks interesting! The wing
is a real beaut.

I built one for a Doctor buddy of mine when the plans first came out . He could afford the balsa tree ! Much of the wing center section is built in your hands so be careful to keep it straight(how are you going to pin something that bent down?) . It don't build light but has enough area to really glide . Has a large amount of pendulum effect so don't over control . The two piece wing is really unique & strong , a lot of thought went into it . Put a Enya 80 4-stroke in it , pulled plenty good . He still has it but he has not flown it for several years now , chicken sh## I guess . A real project! Have fun ! MAX H.

Klarich Custom Kits (916 635 4588) offers a short kit of the Spook.
They also have almost any other old timer you can think of.

Here's a pic of this 96" Spook I bought from a gentlemen a couple of years ago on this forum. Have not flown it yet. It's built like a clock: to be seen to be believed. Has a Saito 65 on gas. The guy that built it never flew it either. All fabric covering. Its the centerpiece of my old timer collection. Quite a conversation piece.

Suman,
Very nice job! Looks like Super Coverite and a Nitrate or Butyrate dope finish. Good luck on your first flight.
You mention a 'collection' of ol' timers, post
some pics of those babies!
Thanks,
Scott
