Hey there,
I am looking for a Carl Goldberg Vector ARC kit or plans. I bought one about 10 to 15 years ago and loved it. The fuselage was stolen but I still had the wings. I had the plans and started to rebuild the fuselage. The plans are no longer accessible. I need these in order to finish this project. I really loved the way this plane flew and would like to get it back up in the air. If anyone can help me, please let me know.
Thanks,
Doug

I'm sorry I can't help you get one, but I too loved my CG Vector. I think it was one of the best building ARC or ARF trainer at that time and well worth the few extra bucks it cost over the Great Panes PT series and Thunder Tiger ARF trainers available at that time.
It had a beautifly sheeted wing, perfect leading edge and a wonderfully sturdy and light fuse. The tailfeathers were also remarkably strong and had a great look to them. I covered mine in a dark-red color with cream-colored triangles for trim and it looked very sharp doing stall turns against a blue sky. That was the first plane that I truly 'flew' with any proficiency and I dearly wish I had it back. Alas, it was retired after a dumb-thumb accident; I ran it vertically at full power down through a 60 foot tall hardwood tree.
I can't find anything useful about this model on the web, and it seems as if it has been wiped from RC modeling history. If you ever find a source for these great ARC kits, please post here. I'd love to acquire one as well.

Hey Nutty,
Thanks for the response. What I did so far was rebuild the fuselage from the plans. But, my friend who was helping me passed away, and his family gave all of his stuff away, including my plans. So, I am looking for the plans so that I can finish the project. I need to make a stab & elev, fin & rud, and locate the landing gear. Well, if I find something out, I'll let you know.

Well, I put the cg at 25% and away we go...
It flew fine after trim as it was in the attic for 15 years. Decided to put floats on it... we will see how that works..
