I'm trying to recreate Dr. Emmett Brown's costume from the first movie, and Ican't seem to find a transmitter that resembles the one they used. Does anyone have a broken or unusable, vintage (preferably blocky-looking) transmitter that would fit the bill? I'm close to giving up on the costume altogether!-Chris

Cool stuff, did you ever notice that the whole time Dr. Brown was driving the time machine the TX was off.

A lot of people think so but I advised them to mount the mainswitch of the transmitter upside down to prevent premature shutdown as result of the enormous gravitation forces that were generated on the set during time traveling. The indicator was broken at the first attempt so you'll understand the complexity of that all!

The thread starter is back to 3013 I think!

I actually have one of those exact old Futaba PCM radios out in the garage. PM me if you are interested and I will make you a deal on it.

Chicks notice this sort of thing, get one detail wrong and he'll strike out that night []
