Name the plane
Okay vintage fans. Can you name the plane?
My friend brought this to the field today and we had a good half dozen flights.
Engine-Frog diesel. Escapement-Elmec.

A well educated guess, Joe. But it's not from a kit.
Sorry, I didn't get the dimensions, but I'd guess the wingspan to be about 55" or slightly less.
Why are you in Az, Joe? Isn't this the season to be in Fl?

Hi Ron;
Our Florida home is on the Gulf side, small city of Englewood, out on the Intercostal Waterway, very near the dangerously thong infested, 13 mile long beaches of Manasota Key, We just got back from several week over dere. Here in Arizona, we live in Glendale, which is part of the greater Phoenix area. Both homes/states are beautiful, can fly almost every day of the year, no snow or ice to contend wid. We will probably get back over to Florida around October or so, less humma-ditty then.
Good a'rappin wid'ya Ron, will blose for now, best regards from Arizona,
Little Joey.
