Default Howard DGA 15 build engine thrust

I am building a Howard dga 15 from
A Don Smith plan 92 in. Does anyone know what the engine
Thrust down and or left/right is?

If the plans don't show it, I wouldn't add any side/down thrust.

There's a Mulligan build in this forum. You could ask Steve what he did about it.

Hi Chris923,

I know for a fact that the Howard DGA 15 has the vertical stabilizer offset slightly to the left to trim the plane in cruise. I happened to have worked on one to help my friend get his up and running after a restoration.


Here it is during its first landing after restoration.

Did you ever get your DGA built? I'd be interested to see it. I'm building a Nosen "Mulligan"
