Default Vintage Orbit Electronics Reed 10/ 12 channel receiver

Hi everyone,
This is my first post on this site. My wife's father passed away and I have some of his old RC airplane stuff that I am looking through. I just happened upon this site when i was researching his old receiver. Like the title says,it is a 60's era (I'm guessing) Orbit 12 channel reed receiver. I know absolutely nothing about this stuff- only that it seems to have some value based upon what I can see from internet research. It is in half of the original box and has all the original paperwork/manuals/, medco powerpack in the box, and several original servos. I have no idea if all of this stuff works but i think its probably all here. Unfortunately the only thing i haven't found is the antenna that screws into the receiver. i don't know how big of a deal that is. I am wondering if anyone can steer me in the right direction as to how to best sell this receiver. I was going to just put it on Ebay but then saw this sight. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! thanks Also- I do have pictures on my cell phone but i have to have my wife help me put them on here if anyone wants to see it. I am not so good with technology.

You will get the best and final answer after an Ebay auction. Dan.

You appear to have an Orbit 10 channel reed transmitter, the matching receiver, 6 Bonner Transmite servos, an unknown servo and some sort of battery pack. This equipment dates from about 1962. As Dan says the best place to sell this would be on ebay, the main thing is to get the right words in the item description so people find it. You can see a lot of early RC gear here:-

Dan and Alan,
thank you so much for the quick replies! I appreciate the information and I will try to get it on eBay in the next week!

The only thing missing is the transmitter antenna. That would certainly add to the value.
