The cover photo of the Oct 1970 issue of RCM was of Lou Proctor's then-new Antic on floats. However, there was no article inside about his new kit. Does anyone know if/when an article or product review was done in RCM or any of the other model magazines?
Thanks,
Harvey

I just discovered this reply to my 7-20-2016 post. Can someone with access to MAN Archives trace this to a specific issue of MAN?
I may be wrong but I don't think the Proctor Antic kit came out until the later '60s (I got mine for Christmas 1969).
I would appreciate the help. I wouldn't hesitate to (re)subscribe to MAN just to access their magazine archives for this but I'd hate to find out that it wasn't in MAN after all, but a different mag.

I have a 2008 MAN Plans Guide - the Antic is not listed. Neither is it in Model Builder's or RCM's listings that I have.
The last guy I sent negative information to jumped all over me. But, he is in Canada, I guess the cold weather makes you grumpy.

The Antic was (and still is) a kit put out by Proctor Enterprises. I don't believe the plans were ever made available separately for the scratchbuilders. With all of the specialized (i.e. difficult-to-find) hardware required for the build, such as the many micro turnbuckles, starting out with only plans would likely become a frustrating exercise in resourcefulness!

An Antic may have been a construction feature in the RCM "Kits and Pieces" column by Bernie Murphy. Look here: RCLibrary : Aeromodelling library. Out of print books, magazines and catalogues. Free downloads. You may have to do a few downloads to find it.
