I recently purchased an old Sterling Piper Tri Pacer kit (58” wing span) and as luck would have it, amongst a few other bits and pieces … it’s missing the metal (or plastic) cowl.
If anyone has a spare cowl they’d considering selling and posting to Australia, it would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Chris.

I just happen to have an old Sterling Tri-Pacer someone gave me years ago. When they found out that was the very first kit my Dad built when he started in the sport back in the early 60's he gave it to me. The nose is busted up but the rest of the plane is in good condition but it is just hanging in my garage. The cowl is metal and unfinished. It has a slight dent that could be knocked out and has a small amount of surface rust on it. You are welcome to it if you would just reimburse me for the shipping upon arrival. I would also like to see the finished product.

Hi David,Thank you very much for responding to my post. We’ve been away for the majority of the week, so I apologise for the delay in replying.Yes I could certainly use the cowl and it goes without saying that the offer is sincerely appreciated.Probably the best way to cover postage is to reimburse you through PayPal, assuming you have an account. If not, please advise the preferred payment method. I sent you an email with the mailing address, please confirm receipt in due course. Also if it’s not too much trouble, please send through a few shots of your Tri Pacer.
David thanks again for your kind and generous offer ... and I look forward to hearing from you soon.Kind regards,Chris

I haven't received an email as yet. Send any info to [email protected]. I do have a Paypal account and I will email you that info once I receive your information. Glad to help and see the part serving someone's need. It was just a part in a box of parts that would eventually just gone away. Have a good week. David
