Default Old Ryan STA EP from Great Planes!

Hey!!
I have not been here for two years, but wanted to chime in, because I found, What I think, is a real gem of a find.

I was out at the thrift store and came across a New-In-Box, Great Planes Ryan STA EP kit, complete with all the plans and instruction manual. I thought for sure it would be junk inside and missing parts, but I go *** anyways, checked it out and indeed all the parts are there and nothing is weathered or ate by mites or mice. It all looks good shape, but is not fresh smelling, a bit stale smelling from probably sitting on a shelf in someones shed or something. From what i have reserched this is a discontinued kit from Great Planes back in 2001 and is a small, Electric powered Ryan STA built up kit that looks nice. It also says it can be converted to glow.

With build kits getting scarce to get now in favor of RTF and ARF, I was very very stoked and excited to find this, because I LOVE to build kits a lot. I haven't done one in a long while, but I am thinking of doing this one up very soon. The small ones powered by electric usually were not my style, but man....this one looks like it would be a very fun build and would be cool to have this small, convenient

plane to have around for when i just want to fly without hauling out all the equipment for the big planes, gas ect.

Best of all I payed only 15 dollars for this. Anyone have one of these? Any tips appreciated.... Will post the progress of building this when I get going on it. Thanks for looking!
