The “Not For Sale” design
#1

Greetings all, I am looking for information on any larger size versions of the “Not For Sale” fun fly airplane. There was a gentleman on here back in 2015 that shared pictures of his with a DLE 20 on it (Lifer was his username). I know there are plans out there for the original 40 size version but I was really looking for a larger version actually hoping to find plans for the DLE 20 size one.
Any information would be appreciated!
Thanks

My Feedback: (1)

The original 20cc version was an experiment. It's still flying but I gave it to a friend 5 years ago. If you want to build one I'd suggest you get the plans from Model Airplane News and scale it up to a 72 or 80 inch wing. All sizes fly and land with a lot of stability and the large control surfaces make it acrobatic.
Best of luck. I've been building and flying this design since 1992 and highly recommend it..

Plans are on the way. I was just curious as to what percentage you may have used to get to that size.
Appreciate the reply though.

If they made a 20 0r 25 size I built one of those years ago. If I remember correctly on the first flight the on off switch on the plane malfunctioned and the plane was totaled before I had a chance to enjoy it. It would be nice if you could post a photo or two of your 20cc plane.

Do you think a evolution 15cc would pull one the size you built or would 65" be better. I'm just getting back into RC after 20 years and would like something that slows down nicely for landing. I would think the thick wing section would do that.
And yes you have my interest. I'll have to see if I still have the plans here.
I'm looking for something that flies nicely at moderate speed. No bottle rockets for this old man.
