Default Plans needed for Sig Komander

Good Morning All, I am looking for a set of plans, either a copy or originals, for a Sig Komander airplane kit. We have contacted Sig themselves and they claim not to have the ability to print them again. Thanks for any help. JK

I have the wing from my old Komander and would love to get ahold of some plans too so I could rebuild a fuse for it

It has been a long time since I built one, but I dont think the plans had side views. It had a top view to pull the fuselage together but everything else was isometric.

I can sort of remember that, was there any former drawings on the plan?

I dont think it had anything. The balsa had alignment marks, but it has been a long time. Ripping one out would not be that big of a deal if close enough is ok. It built like an Ugly Stick with the bottom flat on the table http://wellsradiocontrol.blogspot.co...-komander.html has some measurements. The one I flew had a K&B .40 FIRE.

Lots of thread activity for the Kommander over on the other forum site. Maybe worth a look there (under an assumed name?)

RCU IS my go to site however.

FWIW, some time ago I posted pictures of the fuse side and formers of the Sig Kougar (one of which I have NIB). Could they be used to get a LAR fuse for the Kommander? I haven't checked for the length of the two planes fuselages, but even if they are different, the Kougar "plans" could be scaled to suit, and the Kougar's low wing cutout deleted of course (unless you want to build a low wing Kommander?) You could probably scale some of the Kougar elements. The Komander is a bigger airplane side by side, but its not hugely bigger. Its .60 size of the era. Plenty of people have put 60s on Kougars so Komanders were more on the wing. I had a 10" dihedral brace made from 1/4" something.
