Antique kits???
can you help me establish a $$ value on 2 old kits that I just rediscovered in my shop? am Not an EBAY person. #1. 76" Luscombe Sedan GP-112. plans have been started to be cut up, otherwise Clevland Model kit is complete. #2 Eagle Model Aircraft Co. "Vagabond" t4" by Bill Winter. kit is complete including 3 bottles, of dried up cement and paint , except one rubber wheel missing. thanks, dick stamm

thanks. they are still in the hanger and will remain there. good inheritence for my son or his son of how we spent our time, enjoying our selves before TV and girls. dick

Heres a good site that will give you an idea of what a lot of old kits are selling for.

The Luscombe, $100-175. Plans cut up puts it at the low end. The Vagabond, $75 or so. Not too many guys collecting gas FF models, and the Vagabond is not such a popular one. Keep them and enjoy them. Remember the model T theory, though...just because something is older does NOT necessarily mean it will increase in value...the guys who wanted Model T Fords are mostly passed on nowadays...same with kits from the Forties...kits from the Fifties and Sixties are "hotter". So don't look at it as an "investment", just look at it as something to enjoy.
