Default modeling update

just a note to let yaall know that I'm on the semi retired list for awhile. had a heart defibulator, installed last Wed. getting used used to the pack of cigarette sized container, sticking out from my chest. Dr said I'll be up and flying in a couple of months, planning on building before then. so till then, keep them flying, will continue to offer help where I can. dick

Dick,

Sorry to hear that you will be out of flying for while. Just take care of yourself and do some thinking and planning for your next project/s. You seem to have that ability to select great projects.

We like to hear and see about your projects. Keep em flying!!!!!

Ron

Dick,
Good to see you on the mend. I had to make a few changes a while ago after a heartie. Layed up at the moment with a broken shoulder. I like seeing those models you put out.

Cheers.

Howdy. its me again. feeling super, getting used to the new apparatus, still have to be very cautious, not like I did the other day, was carrying the Cobra down the seawall steps, missed the last one and went for a swim, with the Cobra overhead to keep it dry. no damage to either of us, only damage was the chewing out from Nadine-- you Crazy OLD Man. anyhow it floats super, still have to add a support to rear end to keep them level. IT floats nice and level. now to finish it and power it up, after we get the chase boat in position. also get permission from the BOSS.- head nurse. more later on as the house is being completely rewired, the old 1930's wiring not up to code, insurance requirement. dick

Glad you're feeling better. The floats look nice on the Cobra. You need to teach the BOSS to fly model airplanes.

I think he must be feeling very very much better and will be teaching the whole neighbourhood to fly. As him about his latest COMPLETELY MANIC project.

hi guys, here it is the 4 of July and the firecrackers are popping all over. Boy the amount of Balsa that I could buy for what they spent on the firecrackers. getting stronger each day and learning to listen to DA BOSS, Nadine, she knows how to follow the Dr's orders, no deviations this time. looking hard at getting the Russian TB-1 and its 2 sattilite planes ready for a Multi engine fly-in Sept 10-11, in Pensacola, Fl. thanks for all the good words. dick

That is a fantastic airplane Dick. Are the satelite planes functional? If so, what will power them? Hope you post pictures when it is finished.
Best wishes,
Tom

A hurricane in Missouri?

Show me!

Missouri = Mo

Mississippi = Mi,

Us Brits take weather seriously, because we don't really have any.

Serious hurricane, some roofs damaged. Terrible flooding, one dog drowned.

Since taking an interest in other people's weather I'm glad I live at home.
