I am not sure if this is the one you're looking for but I have a set of plans for a Cessna Skylane 1/2a semi-scale designed by Jess Kreiser.
It sort of has the fuse of a SkySquire and the wings and tail are more cessnaish than a SkySquire-one of my favourite planes of all time.
I don't recall seeing anything for a 1/2a Skysquire-it would be neat if there were plans somewhere out there.
