Rat-Racers
I was wondering if there were any old Rat Racers from the midwest left out there that might have known my Dad. His name is Tommy Tomblin, he also used to go by Willie as well, a knick-name given to him as a youngster. We lived in Midwest City, Ok. I don't know the name of the club he was in as I was really young. I know he had a Hot pink Nobler that won alot trophies through-out Oklahoma, Texarkana, & Arkansas. This was in the late 50's to early 60's. We left Ok in 64 and are living in Ca these days. He is still alive & well and I know he'd get a kick out of knowing some of you guys were still around. Thanks for your time.

RE: Rat-Racers
Hi Mark T.
From the Kansas City, Kansas area were Byron Meriweather and his son Wayne.
They took part in that era in all kinds of contests, Wichita, Tulsa, Oak City. Byron passed away
age 88 about 3-4 years ago and his son is here in the KC area but not an active flyer.
