Ha, page 775 and I had my answer.
Such a wealth of ideas.
Today I also determined my plane was painted, well the fuse at least.
I don't know how authentic it is but once I can post some pictures you'll see what I mean.

10 metres (32') of bright yellow Ultracoat ordered.
I'm going to take a lot of detailed photos so I can iron on all the material.
I had looked at the smaller rolls but at 72" they don't leave a lot of wiggle room.
Should be interesting stripping the fuse down and seeing whats underneath.
Few more posts and I'll be able finally post a photo
Andre.

I can understand but 10 seems high.
Specially when I'm here for the Waco content and trying not to input 10 posts of fluff.
So pulled a lot of the covering off the fuselage this evening.
Fabric based. Only a few ribs damage towards the back.
Now I'll have good access to cut in the battery bay.

10 posts is enough to see if a poster is going to provide actual content, while preventing constant posts and attachments with spam or porn.

Does anyone have a graphics file for the 1/5 scale plane?
My buddy has a vinyl cutter and has offered to do the graphics.
Thanks.
Removing the cover, inspecting for any damage.

Hello fellow Waco brotherhood
Hi I recently bought a Pica 1/5 Waco from a friend and it's in need of TLC. Both upper and lower wings are built aswell most of the fuselage. The only problem I am having is the lower wing sitting in the fuselage saddle.
Andre,
Hello!
Nice Waco, I'm jealous. I built my first 1/7 scale Waco, Pica kit, back in the early 80's. I just gave it away a few months ago.
BTW. I already have the graphics on file for the Waco and I can make them in any size and any scale.
Here's my Pica Waco.
I didn't do scale graphics on my Waco because I wanted something original.
If you're interested in peel n stick vinyl, just let me know.

Hi , I am from Greece and I love the Wako wmf-5. I built a Bath wako ymf-5 1/4 with Laser 360 v for Greece scale competition.
After few years I start restore it and I need help about the code of the blue colour of the plane NC 14081 so I can compete to f4c scale competition.
Also I would like get in touch with the owner of the plane for more information about the plane.
thank you

There are many of the old timers that could help you with your questions they just don't check in much anymore. One I have in mind is skylarkmk1 if you go to page 119 you will see his post with the Waco NC 14081 maybe you can send him a PM he has a lot of information on the Waco. Good luck in your search. Hope someone will jump in and help you.

28% of the cord will get you at a safe point, it will be very close to the leading edge of the bottom wing. Put the model level, and then take the point that is 28% of the combined cord of both top and bottom wings, The leading edge of the top wing, trailing edge of the bottom wing.
