Looking for Wright Flier Planes
#4

Model Aviation published an article in January of 1979 with 3-Views and several pages of history... unfortunately they called it "Destiny at Kitty Hawk", so you can't just search for the Wright Flyer and find it... here's some of what you'll find there:

One of my biggest mistakes (
) was to build the Peanut scale version of the Flyer 3 that was published in Model Builder I think (?) I still got it sitting on my shelf gradually decaying.
Glue down 2 ribs, go watch tv or garden for an hour glue down 2 ribs......32 ribs in each wing

:
Never ever again!!! (Well, not until the next brilliant idea.)
BTW it never flew.
