Default Bradford Electronics Bobcats

Calling all Tarheels!

Back in the late '80's, early '90's there was a man in NC who produced a series of twins called Bobcats. His company was Bradford Electronics, as I recall. They were available in about four sizes from .20 on up to Zenoah's. They were great looking birds and of relatively simple construction. I wish I had a photo.

Does anyone remember these kits? Does anyone have plans?

Thanks,
David

I think he wrote somefor R/C REPORT magazine back in the 90's. Contact Gordon Banks, he might be able to help you locate him.

Thanks Hollis. Is Mr. Banks still with that publication or he accessible in this forum?

I lived in Charlotte back then, a club member had a Bobcat with I believe twin 40's on it. Flew well, fast & reasonably aerobatic. I haven't seen ads for those kits in many years, good luck in your search!

My late Father is Bradford Booth. He loved Bobcat Twins and you can find his planes on eBay. Thank you for your loyalty and interest in my Father’s design.
