....some of those flights were scary....they were mostly free flights.

And in those days people looked out for each other, See how every one kept an eye on what was going on.
When I flew my planes I did not have to worry as much as I do today. You see plane took off in all directions and with no control, man what a blast. With all this modern equipement we have more problems today than we had 60 years ago whoops mabe 70

In those days every one was there to enjoy them selves, to day you don"t know what to expect. Some people don't know when to come out of the rain rather than get out of the WAY.
