Midwest Jester CG info
I got this plane from a club member. I decided to mout a K&B 45 RIRE+Turbax fan on top. Anyone know where the CG is on this plane?? Also how do you think it will perform with the power set up?

RE: Midwest Jester CG info
The CG should be figured just like any other wing. Generally, at 28%- 34% of the average wing chord. Measure the tip chord, measure the root chord. Add the two and then divide by 2. Locate the wing chord that is that measurement and then measure back from the LE the %.

I don't have my planes handy at the moment but when you do balance it tou need to do so with a full tank of fuel as he tank is behind the cg.I flew mine with the 3.5 k&b and it weighed 4 pounds and put out about 3 3/4 pounds of thrust.this was at 24,500 rpm on 10 % nitro fuel and a modified 3.5 using an rpm rod a robart pump and a k & b 40 carb.

correct.it flys like a trainer .even dead stick it would float forever,I believe the pod acts as a lifting surface so it takes a while to bleed off the airspeed.
