Looks good! Just wondering, did you make a template for this? (Taking notes)

Thanks

No, work over plan and pin sticks, bend 8 wet layers, 3/32, to thick cardboard. then sand to final shape. its beginning to look almost TOO big, may not be able to get it in the car, time will tell. the more I look at the photos the more simple details are missing, like how to support/attach the rear wing to the front one, and where is the elevator and rudder. but its an exercise in model building. the 2nd ring is fabed, now to figure out how to attach them together to make the wing. also time to reorder a box of balsa, sure disappears fast. dick

after finishing the 2nd ring and looking it all over- ITS TOO BIG, so it now put aside and start looking for somethig else. was a good idea at the time. Nadine says that I should do it in 30" but thats too small for me, fingers too stiff. time will tell. hope its not burn out, starting to show up. any how YAAALLL have another super day. dick

Sorry to hear that this project is a no go. Save the hoops. You may want to return to it another time. Don’t worry, you’ll find something else cool to build. You always do.

Good luck, and have a good day!

Elevators are in the front wing, rudders in the back wing. Wings are held together by 4 longerons that go between the front & rear wing struts. Look closely.
