Hello all,
I would like to know what some of my old, old engines are worth today.
My first engine is a Super Cyclone spark plug engine, nice on the outside, but will not turn over. It is missing the timer and fuel tank. Nothing has been sheared off, and the muffler extension is there, but no muffler.
My second engine up for questioning is an old McCoy free-flight engine. It is powered by a glow plug, and is a .35 two stroke. It has a red cylinder head, and right below that it is black. The needle valve is there and so is the glow plug and it has not been run yet.
My third engine is a Cox; I think a .51, though it seems much too big to be that. I believe it might be even a .10 or .15. There is no needle valve or fuel tank again, but is in OK shape, and it turns over.
My last engine is a .25 Fox r/c engine, with a "butterfly?" throttle setup that has a metal piece in the muffler hole that rotates with the throttle arm. The muffler is there. The Fox does turn over.
I was offered $55 for all of it; is this good? I probably will never run these engines; it would be nice to see them get preserved or something like that. Hopefully later I will post pictures. Thanks, Andrew
