Hi all,
My father gave me his old Orbit digital 7-14 system years ago, and I seem to have lost the transmitter antenna. It was center-loaded. The set is on the 27 MHz band. Anyone have one of these amongst their junk in attic/basement/garage?
I would like to get the system cleaned up and operational again.
Thanks,

My Feedback: (1)

That antenna was a standard commercially built item. The manufacturer used to be stated right underneath the screw on mounting. The older magazines used to do a review of radio equipment, and therein it will be explained somewhat.
We have a large contingent of HAM clubs in the west, and several guys bring out old antennas and their new designs. My thought is to contact a similar outfit in your area to begin the search. Trying to locate an original will lead to too many dead ends for now.
