Default The Square Stik-forerunner to das Ugly Stik

Hi, I was reading this very interesting article on the Ugly Stik development here:

http://time.fh-augsburg.de/~erd/Mode.../UglyStik2.pdf

It mentions that Phil Krafts original das ugly stik was developed from the square stik, a basic airplane that had all square surfaces. If anyone has a pic or has seen this bird, I'd like to know what it looked like. I can see the wings and tail square, but was the fin and rudder square also? And what about the fuse-totally square or like the grid leaks fuse. It mentions in the advertising for the ugly stik that you can build the ugly or square stik version. This ugly stik has quite a bit of history, and apparently there was and even earlier, uglier stik, the square stik.

As I recall, the the square Stik, was the Fuselage. The rest of the plane was the same, but the Fuselage was completely square, no taper aft of the wing saddle.

Fellows, didn't Bill Northrop design a true square plane called the Square Hare??? I think he still sells plans for it...and there is another one that is square design for 25 size engines but my memory deserts me at this moment.
