I knew I had a JR Falcon kit around here because I started one. Just found it in the attic. All I had completed were the sides of the fuselage, the rest is still kitted. What kind of engine do people suggest today ? One of the .061 RC engines ?

Of course nowadays you'd probably put on an elevator as well.

Hey, Bob. Looks like you're doing well. I remember seeing you at the Barks swap meet. In fact I still have your flyer. I was very impressed with the Wee Stick. Do you know where I could find a throttled .010 or .020 such as the one you had on your own Wee Stick? I would love to have one of those planes with full house control.
Thanks,
Brian

Brian, it took a long time to find that throttle. My Dad made one for his .020 and I think there has been some discussion in the 1/2A forum on .010 throttle design. I am sure someone with a small lathe can produce one for you.

I love that little plane and if I can get my hands on the engine I'll probably build one. What is the prototype covered with and has it flown? What reciever did you use?
Thanks,
Brian

Brian, this was the original prototype for the kit. It has over 150 flights, covered in scrap monocote, has been attacked by 2 fence post, 1 two by four, and the rope at the flying field. I started out using the 4 channel futaba attack radio with small 4 channel receiver and micro servos. Now it has a GWS. Both worked fine. I have this one and a green one with single channel pulser with PeeWee .020. Both fly great and are a barrel of fun. I just picked up another Tee Dee .020 and will build another soon to replace this girl.
