This one is a total mystery to me and is wingspan is 100 inchs. One of my new students came up with this one. He did a byout of one our clubs early members and this is about thirty years old.

Done in a period at least around here when doing oversized old timers was very popular. The forward fuse half appears to have been eccessively overbuilt with solid sheet overlay of the original warren truss light structure. Airplane has an old .61 single bypass engine and it ran and throttled well last well last week. I went through the RC system and used two of the original servos, while replacing everything else. I balance the ship at 25% MAC and hope to fly it this weekend.


Would be nice for the owner to have a name just for kicks?

It should fly very well. I'd be tempted to move the CG back a bit though. 25% might be considered a bit nose heavy, especially for that type of airplane with such a generous tail area.

Well had a successful maiden this morning and it flew very much like my old 112 inch Super Buckineer. Ended up making three flights and the owner was estatic.

The old Enya .60 with the tongue muffler had its work cut out for it but once up to a reasonable height was able to throttle back for a comfortable cruze of about 15 mph
