Default Tf Giant Corsair kit Warped plywood and balsa

First I am not bashing anyone. However, after saying that I have left Three messages at (217) 398-8970 over the last Two days and have received ZERO calls back.

I bought this kit from my LHS just over a year ago and just now got around to starting it. After inventoring all the material HERE IS WHAT i DISCOVERED

MISSING

(2) CRSGW28
(1) CRSGW05

DEFECTIVE

(1) CRSGW01LP plywood has deep gouge
(1) crsgf07 plywood has deep gouge
(3) crsgs 06 Balsa severly warped
(2) CRSGS07 Balsa severly warped
(1) CRSGW06 Severe Warping
(1) CRSGW02LP Severe Warping
(2) CRSGW02BP Severe Warping
(1) CRSGW01LP Severe Warping
(2) CRSGF04 Severe Warping
(2) CRSGF01 Severe Warping
(1) CRSGW07 Severe Warping
(1) CRSGF10 Severe Warping
(1) CRSGF05 Severe Warping
(1) CRSGF06 Severe Warping
(2) CRSGF03 Severe Warping
(1) CRSGW03 Severe Warping
(2) CRSGW01BP Severe Warping
(1) CRSGW17 Severe Warping
(1) CRSGF12 Severe Warping

I realize I should have looked the kit over when it was purchased but I have never had this problem before. I also realize the kit is over one year old and therefore not covered under any Warranty. Also, my LHS is no longer in buisness. it sure would show good faith in a company like TOP-Flite to help me out. I don't mind paying for the parts a second time but perhaps a compromise could be reached.

Default RE: Tf Giant Corsair kit Warped plywood and balsa

Warped, die-cut sheets should present little problem. Balsa can warp over time, depending upon storage. Just make sure that they are properly-installed during building, and you should be OK. The structure will normally be held in proper alignment, so the warps will not affect building.

Warped wing spars, though, are not good, and should be replaced. It can be hard to work with those, unless you install them with opposing warps. The instruction book shows this.

Gouged parts may be unusable.
