Default Greatplanes Uglystick

Hi guys, new here on this forum ...... Does anyone know the dimensions of the firewall on the 66.5" GreatPlanes "ugly stick"...... and ..... has anyone put a gas motor on one. I have a 33oz Cermark MDL28cc I'm hoping to fit on it. 1000 sq in wing sounds good to me. Thanks, fff

Default RE: Greatplanes Uglystick

We don't have a Great Planes Big Stik 60 in the shop, but the kit used a firewall that was 3-14" square.  The model is in no way intended to use a gasoline engine.  A 28cc engine would be much too large in displacement, as well as being much too heavy...even if it did fit.  Likely, it won't.

Here's the one for gasoline engines:

GPMA1224   GIANT SCALE BIG STIK ARF

It will accept a 25-35 cc gasoline engine.
