Hi all,
I have and older axe cp that I would like to try flying again. Its been some time but I did buy a zoom piezo gyro and a evo-flight esc-20ah to help with the tail wag.
The heli is stock I could sure use some help in getting the gyro and esc wired in.
Thank you

Here is where I found to install a GY240 on one of mine.

I have found you will always have a little bit of tail wag. It is the time it takes for the motor to spin up or spin down from the signals from the gyro. It is not bad. If you are going to get it ready to fly, I did find when I bought the Bell Hiller mixer, it helped out the control. I do fly without the fly bar weights.

I did enjoy flying this little helicopter. I just do not get many days with low wind speeds. It does not like wind.

It does make a big difference in how it flies. I had installed it for my brother. He flew it 3 times then did a very nice figure 9 into the ground. i got it all back together but he sort of gave up on it. I have it all ready to go with the bell hiller kit. I have tried to talk him into flying it again but so far he is not interested. So I charge the battery now and again and hover it around.
