Default Axe CP Tail Rotor Question

Ok so I just got my Axe CP in. I fired it up to test everything and I noticed that when i turn the tail rotor to the right the tail blades fire up and spin....when i go to the left it does nothing....what is the deal? Shouldnt' it do something when i turn it to the left?

It's a fixed pitch blade. How would it change pitch? In short, No.

Sorry I am new to heli's......well why does the tail rotors motor spin up when i push it to the right and not the left....i am sorry i just don't understand and want to make sure there is nothing wrong with it. I just figured that if it spun when i pushed it to the right that it would when i pushed it to the left. When I am talking about the left and right i am talking about it moving the nose left and right.

It's because it's trying to fight the "artificial" torque that your putting on the tail. It wants to fight that torque to keep the nose straight. Since the blades spin clockwise, the body wants to turn counterclockwise. It's fighting this motion but to turn left it gives up some of this authority to allow the main blades to torque the body to the left.
