My axe cp is down with a stripped main gear and broken blades, So i decided i dint like the stickers and the red canopy.
so i decide to do my first ever custom paint job on my canopy.
Not half-bad if a do say so myself.
soon i will paint some more but this is a start.
i kinda like how it matches the tail.

Bling!
All you need is some neons under the fuselage.
I'm wondering if the paint on the flybar paddles might throw them out of balance though.
I don't think it takes much to create a vibration.
I might be wrong though.
Ooh, just thought of something, spinners on the tailrotor.

Very nice. I have a Blackhawk 500 that I couldn't leave alone. Had to add some high output led's.

Did you use a special paint for the plastic?
Mine comes off a little too easy.
I bought a new canopy, and am going to start from scratch, and would appreciate any tips on getting the paint to stick.

I have painted up my axe as well. I used yellow on the tips of the main and rotor blades. I also painted the rotor blade white to match the main blades. The white with yellow on the tips gives a good effect while the blades are at speed. Plus you can see where the tips of the blades are at. I painted the landing gear white and left the skids black and I also painted some of my head parts purple. Testors (model paint) has a metallic purple that is very close to the purple on the axe. BLING, BLING without the cost of CNC!!! I will post some pics tonight, before I crash it and tear everything up!!

If you wipe pvc plastics with asetone b4 painting the paint will stick better. It must remove some oil out of the pvc or something because it knocks the shine off of it. I don't know if it will help with these canopys or not but I always wipe down plastics b4 painting just in case.

Some nice work guys. I went a different route and threw on some blue vinyl. This is my Outlaw Axe. For any anime fans out there I got my inspiration from Outlaw Star.
