Check the dimensions of the recommended Great Planes/Electrifly 2100mAh batteries at Tower Hobbies. If you're using the stock location that's about the biggest you'll want to try. A number of people have added slanted battery mount plates (variety of methods) to get better balance, and as a side effect you get more room for whatever battery you want. I have CSRC 2100mAh 4S batts for one of mine, and there's no way they would have fit without changing the mounting.

I've got a 1500 mah one that does fairly decent and then a couple of 2100 packs.. these are great with power and flying time.. I do have a 910 mah one that I use when really desperate, it pretty much sucks...
