How about the wiring going to the tail motor. If you have a mulitmeter check for voltage. It'd be a good idea to either disconnect your main motor or at least remove the main blades and tail blades and put one of the landing skids in a vice to keep the heli from trying to torque around. Give the left stick some tail input and check for voltage at the tail motor. If you don't have any voltage give it a little more tail input until you either get a voltage reading or you can't move the stick any more. If you have no voltage then trace the tail motor wires looking for damaged or broken wires. If you have voltage at the motor but it doesn't work then the problem most likely is at the motor. I don't know what the max voltage at the tail motor should be, someone else may be able to check on that. I'm still waiting for my heli to get back from Hobbico for warranty work. If you've traced the wires and found no damage, check to see if your plug for the tail motor is plugged all the way in. If that checks out, un-plug the tail motor and check for voltage at the 3-n-1. If you don't feel comfortable doing any of this, call hobby-services Tuesday morning. (Monday is a holiday) They may be able to give you some more specific troubleshooting.

Best of luck and I hope it's something simple.

Probably only for Government workers - I work for NASA and I WOULD have it off, but I screwed up and scheduled a class starting Monday!

I pulled out the 3-n-1 and one of the little wafer deals on the back of the board is fried. Melted through the plastic. Wheres the best place to get the board? Anywhere cheaper than tower?

I am going to cally hobby services on tuesday, maybe they can replace it. I don't know how it happened.

I have it off, and the wife doesn't so I figured I'd have a day of hover practice. The wife decided it would be a good time to have the carpets cleaned. [:@]
