Problem with new helimax axe 100 cp
 

I just got a heli-max axe 100 cp today and while flying it the motor cuts in and out and the heli starts spinning on its own. Does anybody know why this would be happening.

mine was junk too. I wrote it off as educational expense. Towerhobbies quality has really declined lately,I am pretty much done with them.

I own an axe cp 100 and after one month of flying I find that the motors are not very good.The motor I have just put in is great.The motor before had very little power and died after 26 flights.The motor before that the motor would rev up and slow down on its own, making it hard to fly.Another motor I was going to install, had the pinion gear unattached., so, I glued it and we 'll see.And if you've been counting, I;v gone through 4 motors in one month, pretty bad.Hopefully an aftermarket motor will come out, or stronger batteries for more punch.

I forgot to mention try lowering your throttle trim a bit if the motor spins on its own.Also check your travel on your throttle channel.
