RE: is this battery to much?

I'm not sure what you mean by too much power. 11.1 volts will work fine. The milliamps determine runtime. Ironically the Li-Po you picked may not have enough power. That is to say it's 8C rating means it's max continuious amperage is 12 amps. That's borderline for the Axe CP. Also I don't care for Electrifly packs. Especially the 'safecharge' packs. You'll see most of the guys here use Mega Power, Thunder Power, or DN Power Li-po's. They all seem to work well. You'll also want a pack with a balance connector. They last longer.

Glad to help.
When you get a chance give [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_5266894/tm.htm]this thread[/link] a read. It has alot of good info on Li-Po's.

RE: is this battery to much?

i found one of the best batterys for the axe,,,i use the aplus 1350c 20c 35b 11.1v this baby had tons of power with longer flight times than the one they say to get....plus it costs less....the one they say,,it runs for 75 here,,,i got mine for only 60....more power and cheaper,,,its the way to go and it has a balancing lead.. the canopy fits a bit tight but the extra 3 seconds is worth it..i have a close up pic. of mine in my profile.....hope this helps..............
