upgraded servos for axe cp?

Do the hitec hs-55/56 servos help with stability when hovering on the axe cp? I heard that I should replace the servos I have now with those. I am wondering what else would be a good upgrade for more stability? I already have those 1/16 wheel collars on the flybar but not sure of what else to do.

Most of my slop in the collective seems to be in the gear train in the stock servos - I can move the arm a couple of degrees without moving the servo motor. Anytime you can get rid of the slop you will fly better, no matter what kind of flying machine!

I'm with you there, I can move my servo arms a little before you feel the resistance of the motor. The collars help but unless your servos are really bad I wouldn't bother. Your control style probably won't change all that much for this lil heli. I think it is still going to require constant input on your part to keep it where you want it. When I first started flying it I felt the same way, like there has to be something that can be done. I added the wheel collars and think that helped a bit but once you get on top of it if your servos are ok I wouldn't replace em. Unless of course maybe you had them lying around or were planning on using them in another heli down the road.

Just my opinion
