Axe Cp E-Board/power loss/settings

I bought a Axe Cp off a guy from ebay, it was supposed to fly right out of the box which of course it didn't. It came with a broken tail motor mount a cooked tail motor so I replaced the tail motor mount and the tail motor, in inspecting the wire to the motor I noticed a splice in the red power cord which was taped up with electrical tape, would this have anything to do with the way my heli fly's I have a pic and video I will add.
I tried some adjustments myself on the Left/Right Bias -[silver screw] on the e-board due to the tail always drifting but I cannot seem to get it, and I think from the power wire being slit the tail motor might be giving me some power loss every now and then watch the video and tell me what you think?
Here is a image of my eboard -

When flying I am always compensating for the tail drifting to the right.

The bias only adjusts difference in turn rates left and right. The bottom pot adjusts the yaw - turn the pot in the direction of the yaw rotation - if the heli turns right, turn the pot right (small amount at a time.) The pot in the middle is gyro gain - how sensitive it is to yaw movements.

the Gyro gain is the weird part when it is in the air it pulls hard to the left nose first so I move the aileron stick to the right to compensate the tail motor and it seems in the air it doesn't move to zippy because it is at full speed now as soon as I initialize the heli it starts to rip pretty fast and in mid air it is like maxed right out.
Or it cuts out all together as you can see in the video

The GYRO that's on the 3in1 board is a RATE GYRO unit, not a Heading Hold unit. So you WILL have to compensate for any added throttle up changes (right tail input), as well as slowing down (left tail input). As the tail motor weakens over time, more right input may be required, due to less tail RPM output.

From the video, looks like you need to tweak your gain up a bit. Turn it (middle pot) CW a touch to see if it will hold. If it gets worse, start tweaking it down (CCW)
