Axe CP problems
I have an Axe CP it was running fine til the e-board fried plug it in and the smoke got out. Here is the problem I have tried two separate e-boards and it is the same with both, all servos jump and come to life they all move and all the lights come on on the board but the motors don't run both main and tail. I have put power to the motors and they both run when on independent batteries but when everything is hooked up to the board I get nothing??? Any help would be good, should I just run separates or am I missing something. I have not tried another receiver yet I am beginning to think that might be the problem not sending a signal to the e-board maybe???

RE: Axe CP problems
The only thing off hand I can think of is the ESC arming.
The throttle has to be in its lowest position (it helps if the throttle trim switch is also set down) when the battery is plugged in for the ESC to arm itself. This is a safety thing. IF you still can't start it try reversing the throttle channel on your radio (keep in mind this also reverses your collective pitch) If the servos move with stick movement your heli is getting a signal. |
RE: Axe CP problems
The 3in1 is such a hassle to deal with...I would suggest going separates, that is what I did to my Axe CP...actually went much farther that that but that is another story... It is so much easier to deal with in diagnosing problems...you can isolate each section to figure out where a problem might be.

RE: Axe CP problems
well i think i might have it figured out I did the lipo recall thing while I was waiting for the eboard to come in and when I bypass the LPM that they sent with it it works when it is plugged in it doesn't.
About the LPM when I had the old lipo it didn't have this and the new one does why?? I know what it does when voltage gets down to a certain point it shuts everything off to protect the battery. The old battery without an external LPM did the same thing was it built into the battery on the old ones or is it built into the e-board?? What about just leaving it off and bypassing it permanently?? Thanks. |
