axe cp spinning, help
 
installed new 3 in 1 and reciever now it keeps spinning to the right, please help thanks

Don't panic!

The new 3 in 1 will need to be adjusted at a minimum.

Nose or tail?

If nose right, tail is spinning at or near full speed (too fast)...
If tail right, tail is not spinning fast enough (too slow).

Verify radio trim is centered.

You'll need to begin adjusting the 3 pots on the 3 in 1.

I'm sorry I can't help with the best way to do that as I never had to adjust one from "scratch".

Hopefully someone else will chime in but you could begin by centering all of them and make small adjustments in a trial and error process noting the changes between adjustments and I'll bet you can improve until you get it.

thanks tail is spinning right, gonna try another 3 in 1 then a 401 gyro

Sounds like you either burned up your E-board (3 in 1 controller) or tail motor. Look for burning spot on E-board and check tail motor operation with a 6V battery.

i installed anothewr tail motor and that really seemed to help, now just need more ajustments on e board, i set heli on a box with a brass tube in center so it will help when i ajust,its gonna help alot, gonna try what eeak did with a 401.

had a bad 3 in 1, gonna go to the tail motor setup on the new axe, no pinion gear, got hughes 500 d fuse yesterday, gonna be awhile untill i install, need to get flying time in:)

now im going to a belt conversion, hitec 55 servos, futaba tail servo, and 401
