Default Himoto Bowie 1:10 Electric conversation from brushed to brushless project.

I would like to convert my standard Himoto bowie 1:10 Electric to a brushless.
Friends recommended me on one of the two combos ( Engine +ESC).

I didn't buy the new Combo yet.

I also own set of four Wheels that I installed my car:

Problem that I needed a pinion with less teeth to get less load on the system because I changed the wheels.
I bought those pinions ( 11,12,13 teeth):

When I installed the pinions, there is a gap between the spur and the pinion. I changed the angle of the motor so they could get closed but still the gap is too far.

What should I do now?
1. Should I get a different pinion? ( Is there a bigger pinion diameter?)
2. Should I get a different spur?
* Set in mind that I need to fit the new combo ( Engine with ESC) + The new wheels.

Thank you for helping me out ..

Hello! Those 2 combos would work fine, but I highly suggest this one. Its cheap and on sale.

About the pinion problem; sorry, you can't use those. The one you had on there before should be fine, too. BUT, if you're 100% set on using them, you can get a bigger spur, but that would be counteracting the pinion change.
