RE: Haing problems when doing rol with the heli
Check your "phasing" or timing of the controls. These may be off. When the head is parallel to the fuselage, the inner and outer rings of the swashplate should be inline. Also make sure the washout arms are parallel to the rotor head as well.
Also check your trim in FFF. If the model is heading down when in FFF, that will kick up the nose when you roll inverted. You may also need to add some back cyclic during the roll as you may inadvertently be pushing forward on the cyclic stick when you start the roll. Jeff |
RE: Haing problems when doing rol with the heli
Hi Jeff
I Have checked the model and every thing is at 90 digs. What i have found is that i have the trim at least 4 clicks forward on the transmiter, On the IDEL UP 1 to make the model fly forward. can this be the cause of my problem? Also i have checked the CG buy holding the main blades grips to the balance point and at this point the models is dead on level. I hope this is the correct way to look at the CG on a Heli. thanks for your prompt reply Francis |
