Default Aurora9 throtle->elevator Mix.

Dear all.

when I apply full throtle to my engine, the model tends to go UP.
How Can I mix the A9 to when 50% or more throtle, the A9 apply a litle of down elevator?
I have no problem to get into the mix menu, but I just could no figure how to set it properly.

Thanks
Mauricio

you may need to add some upthrust in the engine thrust line.
what happens when you're inverted?

have you seen trimming charts? the idea is to mechanically trim the plane first, then use mixes for deficiency in the airframe.
there are other articles that are sim. but the peter goldsmith one is really good.. google him

I agree that you want to get the mechanical set up squared away first before adding mixes on the Transmitter, but addig upthrust would make the problem described worse. Down thrust would be more appropriate IMHO.

i have read that with too much down thrust, you need too much up elev. so when you go to full thrust the plane will climb.
you would need to do some other tests first before you conclude this though... i think the tests are in the trimming charts i posted.
also the sequence of trimming is important.. see peter's article.
i was referring too the trimming of aerodynamics not the linkages.

good luck! trimming can take a while!

Dear all,

I would like to thank all of you for your reply, but I've been flying for 14 years now...
My big dificult here is with A9 it self, on my DX7, I can do it easily...
So, if you could give me some hint about the A9 I would appreciate.

Thanks
Mauricio

this might get you going..

from main screen
model>pmixes>#1>act>throttle>elev>exit>select>rate hi>+++++++

then you can check to see if its going enough, put a switch on it, going right direction, etc...

hope this helps
