Default Flaps

Hi,

Maybe ANOTHER senior moment here but, trying to program flaps (actual flaps)2servosusing y harness, can't seem to figure out how to get them to both go down (one goes up other goes down). want to put them on "E" switch. No mixing just simple 3 positions up - half - full. seems easy enough but..........

thanks

You can only do it with the servo arm or servo since the same command is going to both. If you look at the flap servos, the pushrod /servo armshould be connected toward the wing root on one servo and the wing tip on the other. Your flap horns should have been installed into the flap to line up the pushrod parallel to the servo body or you will get slightly different throws on each flap. Or you can reverse one of the servos by programmng or wiring changes.

Hope this works..!

jimf14d,

thanks for the quick reply. kinda thought that might be the case. i just ran each flap servo to ch 5&^ instead of using the "Y". So works ok now.

just need some decent weather now.

thanks,
Bob S
