Default early Multiplex geared prop unit

I have a Multiplex geared propeller drive unit from possibly the 1960 to 1970's. The gearbox is black Bakelite plastic with a brass gear. The prop that came with it was a black plastic folder with wide blades and opposite rotation direction. I need to fine one that is intact if possible or a broken unit for parts. It is stamped Multiplex. Regards, Pepflyer

Default RE: early Multiplex geared prop unit

Sorry Alan. Not even close. This box that I described had a long "snout" sticking out front holding the shaft. The unit also had "beam" mounts like a gas engine. Years ago I had a reply from someone in Germany showing a picture of the plane it came on. I think it was a twin powered plane. I need to contact someone in the company that has been around for a long time. Regards, Pepflyer
