extract "Whilst in many countries outside USA, a considerable number of Futaba users fly happily with a Hitec Spectra 36MHz, 40MHHz or 72MHz module installed, and whilst there are reports of many so used, it is not "permitted" in USA because the combination of the Spectra and Futaba TX Antenna has not been certified by the FCC. However the new Hitec Spectra Pro 2.4GHz is being used by many Futaba users because the module, which has antenna attached, is certified by FCC and does not need a separate certification for use in any other brand transmitters.
